What is the Course?

In this program, you will have the opportunity to learn the skills and techniques needed to design and create your own video games. You'll start by learning the basics of game design, including concepts such as gameplay mechanics, level design, and character development. You'll also have the chance to work on team-based projects, collaborating with your classmates to create and test your own game prototypes.

Program Activities

Introduction to Game Development

Led by experienced computer scientists, this course covers the basics of game design and introduces students to game development software. Through hands-on projects and collaborative learning, students will have the chance to bring their own game ideas to life and gain a strong foundation in the skills and techniques needed to succeed in the field of game development.

Programing Games

students will have the opportunity to learn the basics of game programming and apply their skills through hands-on projects. Students will learn how to create custom game logic and interactions, and they'll have the chance to apply these skills to create their own game prototypes.

Playing the Games

you will have the opportunity to design, create, and play your own video games. You'll have the chance to apply your skills through hands-on projects, creating your own game prototypes and testing them out with your classmates, learning how to analyze and critique them based on factors such as gameplay mechanics, level design, and storytelling.

Equipment Needed: Spike Essential kits however kits can be provided by us
Prerequire Skills:
No prior programming or electronics skills are required. Although for students with backgrounds in these areas the course is able to scale for them
