Project Aerospace
Year Level: Grade 3 - 6
Total Session Time: 6 hours

What is the Course?

Inspire Robotics now offers their brand new innovative Project Aerospace course. This course involves getting students to work in teams, paralleling the industry in the real world, to design and build high performance model rocketry, with flight computers, payload and alike to be launched.

Course Outline

  • Students are introduced to rocket science, the fundamentals of physics. aerodynamics and aerospace engineering.
  • Students explore the field of astrophysics in an immersive open discussion with an expert in the field.
  • Students work in teams to engineer their own model rockets.
  • Students integrate flight computer payload into their designs and get a small introduction into the world of flight electronics and mass distribution.
  • The program culminates with a Rocket Launch Competition, where the performance of each rocket is measured in a spectacular launch event.

Spectator Event!

This Program has the opportunity of concluding with a large event where parents are invited to come and watch! We'll provide photographers and Drone Pilots to record the event and put together a personalized video for the school that can be used for promotion!
