Game Dev and Design
Year Level: Grade 3 - 6
Total Session Time: 5-7.5 hours

What is the Course?

Students will get the chance to design and build their own games for them and their peers to play. The program concludes with a Game Jam where students are judged on the quality of their games

This program focuses more so on programming rather than the electronics in the alternative Game Console engineering course.

  • Students are introduced to electronics
  • Student are introduced to programming and game development.
  • Students program and create their own games, gaining valuable design and development skills.
  • The program culminates with a Game Jam Competition.
